MY STORY
Since a young age, the Lord has given me a love for the people of England. That love led to an opportunity to serve at a church in Lincoln, England for 7 months back in 2013. It was my first time to live abroad, and my first time to 'work' in a church. I felt terribly unqualified. I was fresh out of school and had no experience. But none of that mattered. The only thing God asked of me was to come. So I went. In that time, I saw first hand the need in the U.K. Churches were nearly empty, church leaders were few and unsupported, and communities were growing dark and hopeless. Even though this experience was short, it was life changing for me to have God open my eyes and break my heart. I feel God confirmed His calling on my life- to reach the people of England.
It was through that experience the Lord instilled a passion to strengthen and grow His church in England. To build up believers to then be able to go and serve. Through church planting and discipleship, I hope to be an active part of the work God is doing here in the UK.
God didn't officially call me to move to England until 2017-2018. I learned about Greater Europe Mission through a friend of mine from University. When I researched their vision as an organization, I found that their heart for Europe is exactly my heart for England. I began the process with them that included applications, training, support raising, etc. This all led to finally moving to England in November 2020. Moving during a global pandemic isn't the most predictable experience, but God is so faithful. In the year to follow I joined a church plant team and we planted Church in the Community Wollaston in May 2021. Praise God! Even when the world is in chaos, God planted a little light in a community that really needs him. In the time since we have been meeting a lot of people, serving the community, discipling, worshipping, and all the rest. We are 'growing at the speed of relationships' which is both beautiful and sometimes nerve-racking.

Greater Europe Mission is a non-denominational mission agency committed to seeing God expand His Kingdom through all the peoples of Europe to the world.
GEM's mission is to reach Europe through multiplying disciples and growing Christ's Church. Regardless of a missionary's specific gifting and ministry assignment (which could range from business to the arts to church-planting), each missionary is held accountable for sharing their personal faith and the Gospel in a way that is simple and reproducible.
Our goal is to see churches planted throughout Europe and North Africa. This happens through a seamless evangelism, discipleship, and church-planting process.

Why England?
In 2016, it was reported that less than 2% of the entire UK were evangelical Christians. -Reported by the International Mission Board

The world already crosses the UK boarder as an international highway, but with these crises experienced across the world, even more have come and need hope.
